My name is Sean. I was born and raised in Troy, Ohio.
My passion began my freshman year of high school, where I was a member of a broadcast class that offered a live-morning show to our school. I found myself behind the scenes most of the time overseeing and delivering any athletic-related news and events each week for the show. This is where I found my true love in creating sports content by showcasing our school's athletic abilities as well as developing a unique look and brand for the school. Over my four years enrolled, multiple social videos, photos and graphics created by myself were posted over specific social handles for each team.
After graduating high school in 2020, I enrolled to the University of Cincinnati to major in Digital Media. My first year of college was interrupted due to COVID-19, which forced classes to be both online and hybrid. I made the decision that year to focus on my academics and to accept freelance work when available. With COVID-19 beginning to show signs of resigning, I returned to what I love most by accepting a student-internship with Bearcats Digital Media in August of 2021. In July of 2023, I took a step further at UC by becoming a student videographer overseeing the Women's Basketball program's creative efforts.
Here I am, still far from my goals, yet closer than ever. One thing I've always believed is life is too short to worry. Have fun, laugh, take chances, surround yourself with people that make you smile, make the most out of every moment and regret nothing. These qualities are what make me strive to be not just a better person, but a better creator.
